FAQs

I'd like an appointment. Do I need a referral?

No, patients can Schedule an Appointment without a doctor or other clinician referring to us. Complete the initial contact form in the link provided and one of our team members will reach out to you within a few business days.

How soon can I schedule an appointment?

New patient appointments are available within a few weeks.

How long are appointments?

Your first appointment will be about an hour. Follow up appointments are scheduled between 15 and 50 minutes.

Will my insurance pay for my appointment?

If we are in-network with your insurance, your care will be covered based on your insurance plan. If we are not in-network with your insurance, there would be an out-of-pocket cost. We do not currently accept patients with Medicaid as primary or secondary insurance.

What if I can't make my appointment?

Call to reschedule at least 24 hours before your appointment. For more details, see our Missed Appointment Policy.

What if I have questions for my doctor?

For questions related to your healthcare, the fastest way to get in touch with your doctor is to send a message through the patient portal, MYIO. Your physician will respond as soon as possible.

What if I run out of medication before my appointment?

You may have refills at your pharmacy. First, call your pharmacy and ask if you have medication for refill. If not, they can fax us a request.

You may also send the request to your physician through your MYIO portal. Helpful details to include are the medication name and dose, how you're taking it, and which pharmacy you need it sent to.
